Specialist Derivatives, FX and Securities Settlement (m/f/d)

The job

  • As a member of our Legal & Operations Office team, you are the back office specialist for transaction processing
  • You will be responsible for the settlement of all financial market transactions, in particular foreign exchange, derivatives (options and futures) and bonds, ensuring a smooth post-trade process
  • You will be in charge of the internal and external communication with all parties involved – in particular with the portfolio management, the brokers, the custodians and the capital management companies
  • You take on structural issues such as the set-up and maintenance of trading and portfolio management systems and further develop the established post-trade processes

Your personal profile

  • Training as a qualified bank clerk or comparable professional qualification
  • Experience in the settlement and clearing of derivatives and securities transactions
  • Knowledge of market practices and guidelines for the settlement of foreign exchange transactions
  • Very good understanding of processes and strong analytical thinking
  • Sense of responsibility, high motivation, ability to work in a team, entrepreneurial thinking
  • Good communication skills, very good knowledge of English
  • Confident knowledge of MS Office applications and high IT affinity

Developer Data and Software Engineering (m/f/d)

The job

  • Together with the Data and Software Engineering team, you will be responsible for the proprietary software landscape and database environment of the investment processes and business logics developed in the Portfolio Management team
  • By applying modern DevOps practices, you will develop the in-house software as a team and ensure the stability of the technical processes
  • Working as a team, you will ensure the stable operation of the data pipelines and further develop the data landscape through the use of modern data and data warehouse technologies

Your personal profile

  • Master in Computer Science (or comparable qualification)
  • Very good programming skills in Python and SQL
  • Other programming languages are an advantage (e.g. full-stack developer)
  • Experience in the use of DevOps (CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Linux) and in the management of the entire software development life cycle
  • Good knowledge of agile practices, software design principles and integrated testing frameworks
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL data pipelines, especially in the context of business intelligence and data analytics applications
  • Experience in the financial industry and with derivatives is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Able to work under pressure, flexible, team player, entrepreneurial thinking
  • Good communication skills, very good English skills
  • Ability to translate business-side requirements into powerful products that integrate seamlessly into the tech stack
